Sprinkler Head Testing
The FPA is able to provide the 25 year testing of sprinkler heads removed from an installation. Using one of our sprinkler head test rigs, The FPA's fire testing laboratory will evaluate the condition and operational performance of a sprinkler head prior to issuing a full report highlighting any issues or concerns. The evaluation will be conducted in accordance with the guidance given in the LPC sprinkler rules, TB303.3.8.3 and will include a visual inspection of 100% of the samples and a minimum of 75% of the heads will be subject to a 'function test' based upon BS EN 12259-1 clause 4.6.
