The Scaffolding Association's Quarterly Magazine 'AccessPoint' Wins Magazine of the Year!

The Scaffolding Association's quarterly magazine was shortlisted in the Magazine of the Year category, and the team are delighted to announce that the publication was the overall winner.

The prestigious Trade Association Forum Best Practice Awards and Dinner 2018 was held on Wednesday, 10th July 2018 at the historic Drapers Hall in London.The Awards recognise, reward and promote Best Practice amongst Trade Associations in the UK and are a chance for Trade Association Forum members to showcase their hard work and achievements during the last twelve to eighteen months.

Linda Cavender, Chief Executive of TAF said, “Once again, the standard of entries was high meaning that the Judges had a difficult time in deciding all our worthy winners.  All the finalists should be very proud of their achievements indeed.”

Each entry was  judged against the following criteria:

  • The merit of the entry 
  • The extent to which the entry met the awards criteria
  • The degree to which the entry might demonstrate best practice and/ or innovation to other associations
  • Recognition that smaller associations may not have the same resources as larger organisations
