We’re on the litter bin framework for Doncaster Council

We’re excited to announce that we have won a place on the framework to supply steel litter bins to Doncaster Council.

We began tendering to be on their framework back in July, working towards their brief for steel on-street litter bins. We worked hard for a place on the framework and were pleased to be awarded a place in October.

Our range of steel litter bins are manufactured from premium quality galvanised steel, offering a 10 year anti perforation warranty and a 1 year parts and labour guarantee. This range of bins are primed, cured and then powder coated your choice of colour, offering maximum corrosion resistance.

We’ve been working with Doncaster Council for many years, who have always been interested in our range of steel litter bins; previously ordering the Barnsley Bin and MLB Litter Bins.

Shortly after our success, Doncaster Council came to visit our factory in Barnsley. We welcomed Darren Bisby, Operations Manager and Steven Benson from the Streetscene department.

A tour of our factory offers a unique insight into our manufacturing processes and the high-tech equipment we use to produce our extensive range of products.

The council loved the fact that British manufacturing is still going strong! Darren told us that he didn’t realise how much work goes into making a litter bin and how insightful it was to see the process up close.

We can’t wait to continue our work with Doncaster Council and start production on their litter bins, which will be rolled out across eight areas in the forthcoming months.
